Guided tour to the Brenndal's glacier

From 20th July through 20th August, guides from Briksdal breføring guide you across the blue ice of the Brenndal's glacier. The trip starts at 10 am at Aabrekk Gard, which is about 1.5 km to the north of the reception. The hike alongside beautiful, wild nature takes about one hour and a half. Further you walk across the blue ice of the glacier for about two hours. You return to the starting point at about 5 pm.

You have to be at least 12 years old. Long pants, a sweater and some provisions are recommended. The essential equipment such as an ice pick, climbing iron, a helmet, a rope and the lifting gear are provided.

Price NOK 600 / person.

Alpine boots can be lended.

This is one of the most spectacular hikes that Norway has to offer.
